Not sure what Whole30 is all about? Check out the rules at Whole30.com. But for a quick overview, it’s no sugar, no grains, no dairy, no alcohol, no legumes, and avoid certain food additives for 30 days.
My relationship with food has not always been the best. And in the past I didn’t think it such a big deal because of that oh-so-youthful metabolism. Now that I’m well into my 30s, I’m in dire need of a system reboot, and I’m hoping Whole30 is the answer that will help my kick my cravings and redefine my relationship with food.
Whole30 isn’t all about weight loss, but I am hoping to shed some pounds because, to let you in on what I feel is an embarrassing secret, I still haven’t returned to my pre-pregnancy weight, and my littlest babe is 18 months old. I JUST WANT TO FIT IN MY OLD PANTS AGAIN!
I’m sure there are lots of you out there in a similar situation. And just like me, you’re looking for a change that actually works and sticks with you. So follow along with me or join in on the challenge, too, and let’s find out if this Whole30 thing is the change we need.
